Most, who wear extensions, say they are easier to care for than their natural hair, but they can take a while to get used to.

Our Extensionists are here to help educate you and to help you find a rhythm that works for you, in both washing and styling, to quickly get you to a point where you are spending less time thinking about your hair and more time enjoying it!

Hair extensions become a lifestyle. But they are an investment, in both time and money, which is why we highly recommend a complimentary consultation to discuss options that fit your life. 

Each brand, and type of hair extension comes in different colors, lengths, and quantity of extensions. This means each type of hair extension will have a very different price. The cost of hair must be paid before we schedule your hair extension installation service.

What is IBE?

IBE, is Invisible Bead Extensions, it is also known as the original ‘flip up’ method using hand tied extensions. The wefts are sewn onto a beaded foundation, IBE was created to give a seamless natural finish while still being comfortable.

 

Why IBE?

IBE offers versatility, promises damage-free and comfortable installation, offering a more durable method and being able to go twice as long in between reinstall appointments. It does not involve glue, tape or heat while still giving a seamlessness from every view. It offers flexibility and comfort even when worn up in a ponytail or a top bun. IBE eliminates discomfort by distributing weight evenly across the wefts to prevent tugging and pulling.

 

Reinstallation

In IBE we reinstall every 7-10 weeks rather than push the beads up. Why?

To release all the natural hair shed to prevent matting and tangling

Assess scalp health

Create longevity and durability using new beads and thread

The time frame for a reinstall depends on the person and will be discussed during the initial installation appointment.

 

What to Expect from your Consultation Appointment

An in person consultation is required before we can move forward, during this appointment we will talk about your hair goals, desired length, color match you, what to expect during your install appointment, maintenance and answer any questions you may have.

At the end of the consultation you will receive an estimate, the estimate is designed for you and your hair needs and is determined by the number of rows, length, any coloring services needed, and cut.

 

What to expect from your installation appointment

We ask that you please come with clean dry hair, the installation process can take a few hours, during which time we will install your extensions, custom color them (if needed), a custom cut to make sure your extensions blend seamlessly, and style. You will also receive at home care instructions at the end of your appointment.

 

How is the IBE grow out different than other methods?

The unique way our foundation is structured, combined with our precise stitching pattern, offers guests the peace of mind that their extensions are going to hold up and be easy to maintain.

 

Maintenance

When properly cared for your extensions can grow out for 6-8 weeks effortlessly, at the 6-8 week mark you should come in for a resew during that time if you need a color refresh we can do both or just do the reinstall.
